It has been such a great few days celebrating my birthday! I so appreciate all the love and messages! Yesterday was my actual birthday and a big part of the day was traveling home the 5 hours from Montreal! It was long, we passed a bad accident going the other direction that had a large stretch of highway closed from 1pm to 9pm. We passed the accident investigation team working first, then a long stretch of eary and empty highway then finally the offramp and a big stretch of bumper traffic. Thank goodness we were heading the other way. We googled ot and found out it was a head on collision from an SUV entering the highway the wrong way and colliding head in with another SUV. We got home after 10pm and while it's nice to go away it's always nice to come home.

Having the time of my life in Montreal! So much fun! We visited Biodome yesterday and they had the cutest penguins! Last night's dinner was French fine dining and so amazing.. sampled salmon tartar, scallops crudo, froix gras and oysters. For dinner I had duck breast for the first time and loved it. It came with this crispy cabbage, and a mushroom puree! After we went to a cocktail bar and I had a very yummy Margarita! Today we had an active day visiting Notra Dame Bassilica, the giant ferris wheel on the river and then the Spin boats which take you out in the river rapids.
I might sleep in a bit tomorrow!
One more sleep till Montreal! Woot woot! We are off bright and early tomorrow morning. I worked at the barn today and while it was warm, it was a good day! Thankfully the crazy rain held off till almost the end of my shift! LOL We have 4 baby horses that have been born over the last few weeks and they are the cutest things! So small and soft! ❤️

3 more sleeps till I leave for Montraal and I can't wait!!! I got my nails done today as I had a day off and now I work tomorrow and Saturday so it should go quickly! Tomorrow night my plan is to do laundry and pack so im all set and can just come home from work Saturday, shower and relax!!!

Happy Hump Day! It was such a busy day at work today! Got home just before a thunderstorm hit and, it caused our power to first flicker a few times and then go out!! I'm finally charging as my phone got down to 5%!!! Eeeekkk lol
Everyone seems to really love the Snapchat pics so I'm trying to make it a more regular feature!

I had my riding lesson tonight and I had to have one of the staff go get my horse from the paddock as I'm still a bit gun shy but, my lesson was amazing and that's the most important thing right?
I'm not super sore but, I'm for sure at the ugliest stage of healing where the bruise is blue and yellow! LoL

It's sonweird because some days the month feels like it's flying by but other days it's going sooo slowly!! The month is almost half over but I'm spending a few days in Montreal next weekend and it feels like it's taking forever to get here! LoL

Just getting home from the gym! Told my coach about my sore arm so she modified my arm workout! It's not terrible but a little sore still!

In other news! Had a bit of a crazy night at the barn! Went out to get my horse to bring in and one of the other horses in the paddock decided she didn't want me taking her friend away so she charged at me, knocked me down and BIT me, then ran off! Crazy girl! It left a bit of a mark but thankfully we are both up to date on our shots! I'll post the pic in my story in a bit! I'm off to shower, clean my wounds and relax for the night!

Happy Snappy Thursday!!! I had an amazing riding lesson tonight! I'm sure over my setback and feeling so good in the saddle! Martini and I are jumping flawlessly! Now I'm home and relaxing. I might play some Phasmaphobia tonight...who am I kidding I will for sure be gaming a bit!!!!

Happy Wednesday! Had such a fun day at Wonderland yesterday! I'm a bit of a roller coaster junkie so, it's my favorite! We decided to splurge yesterday and go with Fast Lane passes which basically let's you skip the regular lime and go in a special line of Fast Pass Holders. They limit these passes so the line up is always 10x shorter! We got on all the big coasters multiple times I'm the day! It was awesome!
Today I slept in and took a much needed lazy say!!! But, I'm always making content to post! 😍😍😘
Such a busy few days! Sunday was my works first car show of the season and today was my first shift SOLO! It was cool to be trusted to be on my own in the store but I missed having somebody to talk to!!! LoL
I'm off to Wonderland tomorrow which is a super fun amusement park so my signal at the park may be shit so don't be sad if I don't respond to messages during the day!

What a crazy day! Early morning there was a crazy accident on the road to work where a truck was driving too fast, lost control and flipped into its side and sliding into the intersection so the traffic was a bit intense in the area! Thankfully I was only a few minutes late getting to work! Then mid day our family group chat went crazy...my dad, who is adopted got a message from his half sister who just found him! So he got to connect with his two sisters today and then also his mom. It was a pretty bug day for him! His birthday is tomorrow so it was kind of an epic birthday present for him! Another Day Another College Tour! This one was for sure not as good imho and the Culinary Department was underwhelming! Now if i was thinking about getting into Elevator Repair Tecb THAT department was truly exceptional! LOL So I have one more school I want to see...they are supposed to have one of the best culinary programs but, it's right in downtown and I just don't know if I want to do that commute!

Sunday is here! Busy weekend for me working, working working but, finally time to relax! I'm happy to drop Sheerly in the Shower Spring 2024 for you tonight! Long day but a fun day running errands and spending some quality time with my mom! Ended at the barn and had the best lesson ever! I've been giving Martini regular Beemer treatments (a blanket that gives electromagnetic treatment so she's been feeling great and we've been jumping so well!!

Hope everyone had a good Wednesday! I worked a half day today which was nice! For those of you that wanted an update my dog Octavia is doing really really well! She had her first therapy session today and is moving so much better! I'm over the moon happy! The vet and therapist are confident she will make a good recovery!

Happy LONG weekend! I know it isn't for everyone but here is Victoria Day weekend! I worked Saturday but had Sunday off so headed off to Canada's Wonderland for the day. It's an amusement park and they had Fireworks last night. It was stupid busy but we had so fun...until the end where it took us 1.5 hours to get out of the parking lot! I lt was chaos and I heard there was an accident at one of the exits that didn't help. Got home about 1am! Today we had a family birthday which was a nice afternoon for a backyard party! Left that party a bit early as I had a horseback riding lesson! And now, big storm starting lol which I love for great sleeping!
