It was a great day today! Octavia had a visit with our trusted vet and, he was very hopeful. He diagnosed her with something called Cervical IVDD which is similar to a slipped disc and nerve damage in a human. She showed a lot of progress in her walking today and while it's gonna be a long road to recovery, she has all of our love and support and is a strong girl!
I'm feeling so happy about this so I went with an outfit that was bright to match my mood!

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a good day today! It was a rough day here. My dog Octavia we believe fell off my parents bed late last night. We just heard her bark and then yelp a few times and we found her on the floor at the foot of the bed not moving. She wasn't making a fuss, she just layed there. She wouldn't bear weight so we made the decision to take her to the after hours climic. The took tests and examined her. It is believe that she may have a concussion as there were no apparent broken bones or injured limbs and her problems more indicated a neurological issue. We made the decision (since her lab was normal and she was stable) to give her an anti inflammatory, pain meds and something to help her relax. The hope is her issues will resolve as her brain heals. Fingers crossed and positive thoughts for my baby girl please!

Had a good Monday! Took advantage of not working today and slept in a bit and then ran some errands with my mom. We did an Ikea day as she needed some chairs and took advantage of the Ikea restaurant and had lunch! Ikea poutine actually slaps! For those that don't know what poutine is as I know it's a Canadian staple.. it is fries, cheese curds and gravy! Mom got the Swedish Meatballs and we shared a slice of rainbow cake lol All in all a fun day! Now off to the barn for my Monday riding lessons! Hope you all enjoy swimsuit edition Day 2. Happy Sunday! So I found out today my work is needing to cut back my hours because they just aren't busy enough! It kinda sucks but I'm sure I'll make the best of it!!! On a plus I'll be back to having more time to create ideas and content lol

Spent another 3 hours at the salon today in step 2 of my new look. As my hair is super dark, and i previously had red etc we were not sure how many sessions it would take it to lift to a nice blonde! But my hair cooperated. Its done in stages so yoh avoid over bleaching and killing the hair. Today's result is after 2 sessions as I went last Thurday! I'm pretty happy with it. We may lift it a bit lighter in a few weeks but for now, I'm thrilled with it!
I don't know why.but as I was prepping these pics to post I was singing "Fly Me to the Moon...." LOL
Decided to mix it up a little today!
I started a haur process last Thursday and tomorrow is my finishing appointment! Hope it turns out as I'm imagining! I think it's gonna be great! Stay tuned!!!!
So I now officially LOVE Tuesdays as one of my only days off and ot comes after Monday which is officially my longest day! I work from 10 to 6 then head to the barn to ride for 7pm (which got bumped to 8pm this week which gets me home after 10pm! So the Tuesday off is much needed. I tried to sleep in a bit and, went and got my nails done and bought some books. Perfect day!

It's a late post today after a crazy day! Worked today from 10am to 6pm. I had a 7pm riding lesson but there was a massive accident on the highway involving a tractor trailer and pick up truck so, my usual 30 min drove took over an hour and 15 minutes. Thankfully my friend working at the barn hustled around and was able to switch me to 7:30 and move the person from 7:30 to 7pm as they showed up early so I didn't have to forfit my lesson! That got me home later than usual and then, our modem went down crashing our internet. The modem is dead and has to be exchanged so no internet for me till tomorrow early afternoon which of course means no laptop. Thankfully I can drop tonight's post from my phone...just much slower!! What a day! But I can't complain as the people involved in that awful accident that closed down the highway for 6 hours for sure are having a worse day!

It was such a fun weekend! Learned a lot of things and got to literally rip apart a car as part of a rescue scenario! I'm beat so shower and relaxing in bed for me this evening! Back to making content tomorrow! LOL I'm hoping to drop a new fun Sheer this week and so some test shots from the May member set which I think will be a new favorite!

It's almost Friday!!!! I am heading out of town for the weekend so I'll drop the Friday Feature as always but won't be posting or most likely responding to DMs Saturday and Sunday as I'm in a remote location, don't know what the reception will be like and will be busy training all weekend. It's a training session to work the Toronto Honda Indy in July which I did last year as well and LOVED!
Tuesdays and Thursdays are my new errand days as I work every other day so today I went and got my car washed and cleaned inside and booked a facial and body exfoliation massage for Thursday! I can't wait!!!

Hope everyone had a great Monday! As of now, Mondays are officially my longest days. I work from 10 to 6 then immediately head off to the barn for a 7pm lesson in my new Monday time slot! That gets me home to eat, shower and change by 8:30pm! But i had my breakthrough ride tonight so, the long say is totally worth it! Woohooo!
It was such a busy week! I'm exhausted which prompted tonight's easy content just playing with Snapchst and the some regular casual pics! Way back in the day I did this thing on IG called Snappy Tuesdays where I would post silly pics so this is like a throwback but sheer! LoL
Thursday is ALMOST as good as Friday! For me I have my riding lesson so I look forward to it all week! Today I was really looking forward to it as I finally had my breakthrough ride last week with the crazy mare called Martini (that I lovingly refer to as Tini). She likes to buck and kick walls but is short so, I don't face that fear of falling and just ride her like a champ. She was extra feisty last week and I handled it like a champ. I was all set to ride Penny who is also another confidence booster because everyone says I ride her the best of anyone and always have a fantastic ride. She has been lame (for non horse people that just means her gait is off due to some issue with her legs so can't be ridden) ... it was her first day back from being off and, so I was excited about it. I got her all tacked up and, as we stepped into the arena, she started to walk funny AGAIN. Yup, still lame. So I had to forfeit my lesson and will get a make up!
In other news I start my new job tomorrow at the car detailing place. I'm looking forward to it and, with my day working at the barn I'll be working 5 days a week which I'm not used to LOL I guess it had to happen eventually! I've got my content creation down to a science so, should easily be able to keep up with everything! I had to change my 2nd lesson per week to Monday and, moved my gym day with my personal trainer to Tuesday but, I think I've got it all worked out! Busy times ahead!

Another beautiful day here in Canada! It's so nice to see the weather warming up again! I went to the gym and then tried to take my car over to the car wash...they have package called a Quick in and Out that you can order with a rim job! LoL You take the car through the wash and then park in the bay for them to detail the rims and clean the inside. Sadly it was a 1 hour wait so I only did the outside 😪
We had such a beautiful day here today! I spent some of the morning sitting in the sunshine and resding the decided a drive was in order so grabbed my favorite (Starbucks) and went for a drive with the windows and sunroof open! Made a stop at Crumbl cookies which only recently opened a location in Canada. I had seen some reels about them and went to a location when I was down in the USA but they are closed on Sunday so I didn't get to have any! We'll they are worth the hype. They were massive and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We cut them up so we could try a bite of a few flavors so I sampled the chocolate chip, cookies and creme and cookie dough! So yum! We ran into the sweetest thing on the OUR drive....these two cute dogs hanging out the back of their truck enjoying the beautiful weather! It was too cute. We pulled into the Starbucks drive through behind them and they instantly face the front and their tales go crazy. They have clearly had a pup cup before! I'll add the day adventure pics to stories!
Posting a bit early today as I'm heading out for a late dinner and I don't know when I'll be home! We are going for Korean BBQ which is one of my faves. It was a toss up between that or Hot Pot and BBQ won! For those that have never had it, there is a little grill in the middle of the table and you cook your stuff on it. Prime cuts of beef, pork and seafood! They also have chicken but I don't trust myself to cook my own chicken without a thermometer. LOL Hot Pot is similar except you cool everything in a broth cooking in the centre of the table!
The eclipse was a bit anti climactic in our area. We had so much cloud you couldn't see anything and it only got a bit darker and cold. Meh. LoL
What a weekend! It was sooo busy! I was supposed to only be working Saturday at the barn this month but i noticed I was on the schedule both days! I love it there but I wasn't mentally prepared for it lol so I'm exhausted! Got home tonight, had dinner and took the longest, hottest shower and did some content since I didn't get any done last night! LOL
What is everyone doing for the eclipse tomorrow? I wanted to go out in the afternoon but I'm worried about driving and being tempted to look so i think I will go to the gym in the morning and then just hang out at home in the afternoon. We got the ISO approved glasses but I don't know if I trust them!
It's Thursday! What does that mean? Tomorrow's Friday, Friday, FRIDAY! It's just a feel good kinda day isn't it!!!
Had a busy one today running some errands, meeting some friends for a sushi date and the off to the barn for my Thursday lesson! I'm trying to get over a little bit of a mental break down in my riding. My last few falls have gotten me in my head and have me not riding my best so its been a but frustrating. Sadly the one horse I know can get me out of my funk has been lame for a few weeks and on stall rest so I haven't been able to ride her so I'm struggling! Hoping to have my breakthrough soon and get back on track being a fearless bitch lol
