Happy Sunday 💜 Today I am editing together a self tape audition for something special I’m hoping to book! Here are some clips of me freestyling in heels that I had to add, along with some choreo I will share soon. I love dancing in heels because as you can see my body moves with such fluidity but I still add ballet elements such as battements and lots and lots of plie! 😊

2022-03-04 23:03:33 +0000 UTC View PostHi guys I’m back from such a beautiful vacation 💗 I had a day full of dance classes today and sadly didn’t get any footage of them but wanted to share this clip of me “improv dancing” from a bit ago! Here I was really just letting go, no set choreography and was dancing improvisation, which means just whatever comes to mind that’s how I move! When I do improv I tend to give myself many different tasks to see the different ways my body will go. I felt with this French music it was leading me in so many different paths which I absolutely loved. Music indicates how I move a lot of the time. Hope you guys have a great Thursday 💜

I’m also in a high arch, meaning that I’m high on my standing toes and my bottom leg is in plie, (bent). This adds a bit more style versus a straight up and down vertical kick. 😇

Well this was a fun go go dancing outfit from this weekend! What do you guys think? I can’t ever say enough how expressive I dance when I go go dance! Complete opposite of ballet yet I excel so much doing it because of my ballet technique! Found a perfect unitard for dance today! I have a new OFTV episode coming soon that does a deep dive into what the essential ballet uniform looks like. Typically a leotard, pink tights, hair in a bun, and ballet shoes. However this unitard is tight fitting and shows off my body lines so well I cannot wait to use it in my contemporary and jazz classes! 😇

Even in chaos I feel like what keeps me grounded is my ability to completely dive into my art form of dance. I know I’ve posted many contemporary videos lately and that is because I want to show how and where my ballet technique training has taken me. Training for so many years and finding beautiful lines and turn out have allowed me to release and perform like never before and I am able to execute technical moves while emoting to the contemporary movement!
