Been in and out of sleep all day. Had to take lots of anti anxiety meds last night to deal and I guess this is the hangover from that. Long story short, I had a stalker, and I thought he was gone for good. It had been years, 3 or 4, and I found he had made an account here and was pretending to be someone else to insinuate himself back into my life that way. It was really scary and really upsetting. I refunded his subscription and said in no uncertain terms that he needs to leave me alone or I'd need to contact the FBI. Anyway, I don't want sympathy, I just wanted to let you know what's going on. (I'm sure some of you have seen my post on twitter, I posted the message to the stalker there too, to ensure that he sees it, since I had to block him here) So yeah, just letting you know what's going on. I'm ok, but I'm EXHAUSTED. I'm going to stay offline for the rest of the night. I'll catch up with y'all tomorrow! xo

Happy Sunday and Happy Easter (to those who celebrate that) I ended up having an exceptionally rough night last night. I even had to take anxiety medicine in order to sleep, which I haven't had to do in a LOOOOOOOONG time, so that alone feels pretty bad. But it is what it is. I'm awake right now, but I'm actually going back to sleep. My body needs it. I'll catch up with you guys a little later. Know that I'll be ok, and things, for the first time in also a long time, feel like they're going to be ok. Sorry to vague post, but I'm really, really, really tired. So naptime. Have a lovely day and I'll be back this evening, hopefully to explain a little bit of what happened. (without getting into too much personal detail, of course) Oh, One request - if you have pets, cats, dogs, lizards, fish, birbs, snakes, rabbits... whatever 'fur' babies you have, please send me a pic of them in DM. (No, don't just grab a photo off the internet, I can search for those myself, and that's not what I'm after) but if you're comfortable sharing your pet pics with me, please do! I promise, it will absolutely make my day a MILLION times better when I wake up again! This is a picture of my friend's cat, Happy. My friend lived with me for a short while and so did his cat. She is the sweetest kitty ever. So while she's not my cat, I did take this photo myself of her in the window of my bedroom. She has little white paws that look like she's wearing socks, it's so cute! If you don't have pets, I understand, I currently don't have any either. It's not a failing on your part. I can't have pets where I am, so it is what it is. It's why I'm asking for pets in DMs :) (Also, it should go without being said, but just in case someone is new here, NO unsolicited dick pics, btw. If you send one of those, I will request a $100 tip as penance for doing so and you will be restricted here until you pay that, so just don't do it.)

Afternoon y'all! I'm still having weird symptoms (presumably from the vaccine), and it made things incredibly difficult to sleep last night. I was up for quite a few hours in the middle of the night. Even so, this is still better than catching covid and being one of the unlucky ones who doesn't survive. Worse yet, if I caught it and brought it to my immunocompromised roomie, I wouldn't be able to handle that. Anyway, I'm doing ok, but need to lay low again today and take care of myself. So it's easter weekend, apparently. I don't celebrate easter, but I did find these photos where I was messing with the silly filters and one of them is bunny ears. That's about as easter as I'll get. Dressing up like a bunny! Oddly enough I don't have a proper fluffy bunny tail, though I have many cat tails, both butt-plug and just normal costume variety. I think I'll look into that. I've seen some really cute ones online! I'll let you know what I find. Oh, also - I know a couple of you have sent me surprises to my PO box. I've been notified by the post office which is happy to hold them in their store room for me until I can retrieve them, so rest assured, that while I've been unable to get to the post office this week, my packages are not in jeopardy of being stolen or sent back or anything. I'm hoping to be able to get there, maybe tomorrow. I'm excited to see what the surprises are! Ok, I'm going to get some breakfast and see what I am feeling up to accomplishing today. Well, My arm is less sore today but the headache persists. I actually called off D&D today because I'm in no shape to run a game. If I were just a player I could probably push through it, but as the DM, I think it's best I take it super easy. All in all, however, I'm taking it much better than I have with historic vaccines. Hepatitis and Flu vaccines have left me bedridden and even needed to make a trip to the hospital a couple of times. If all I get with this is a crazy headache for a few days, I can deal. Much better than catching covid. Anyway, I am likely to be kind of quiet today, but know that I'm ok, and I'll do my best to pop in later. For now, I'm off to the sofa to be a proper potato. ðĨ Also: Happy April! Thank you guys for joining me here on the OF! UPDATE #2: Tried a snoozle, but unsuccessful. I'm getting more side effects, or rather, my body is working with the vaccine as it's supposed to, but I'm feeling pretty cruddy. I'm relocating to the sofa for the rest of the evening. Don't worry, It's nothing I can't handle, and nothing that needs medical intervention. If it escalates to that, I'll keep you in the loop, but I'm not anticipating it going that way. Anyhow, goodnight for now, even though it's early! UPDATE: Got the jab. I actually was surprised when it was finished, I didn't feel the needle at all! I felt the nurses hand on my arm, I just thought she was touching my skin to find the right spot to do the injection, but then she was putting on the bandaid! So that was a breeeze. They had me stay for half an hour afterwards just to monitor for those scary allergic reactions, but thankfully no problems there. Post injection, my arm is a little tender but I wouldn't go so far as to call it sore or painful. What is pretty overwhelming is the headache. I'm going to drink plenty of water, to make sure it's not dehydration and probably have a little lie down for a while. But so far so good. Truly, I'll have a better idea if I end up having a really bad flu reaction (as I have with past vaccines) tomorrow. Fingers crossed for now. All seems to be on par with what to expect.

Ok I'm awake, it's official. I even washed my hair this morning! That maybe doesn't sound like such a big deal, but my hair is super long and it's a big job to wash it so I rarely do. (which is fine because living in the dry desert, my hair is usually quite dry rather than oily or stinky, so I can get away with it) Anyway, I get penetrated by pfizer this afternoon. I'm feeling ok about it right now. Let's hope that keeps up!

Morning Boo-ty! ðŧ I go for my first vaccine shot today. Hopefully when this posts I will be asleep still, and totally not been up all night from nerves! ð I shouldn't be nervous though, because honestly, the way I react to vaccines historically is severe flu like symptoms. Yes, it's terrible and no fun, but it's survivable. I'm hoping that it doesn't even come to that. I expect a sore arm and some drowsiness. So I seem to be on a bit of a theme as far as movies I've been watching lately. After I watched the Snyder cut of Justice League, I had to go back and watch Man of Steel and then last night Batman vs Superman. Typically I prefer the Marvel cinematic universe and their stories over DC, but after the Snyder cut gave me a new appreciation for those characters and their backstories, I wonder if maybe the DC cinematic universe is just not being presented as well as Marvel? I'd love to see more of Cyborg, and previous to the Snyder cut, to me, he was 'just another character in the movie' that I completely forgot about. Even Aquaman felt like he had more dimension other than his one line of "my man!" Though I do find the Marvel stories incorporate a lot more humor and lightheartedness which I really do appreciate. You can tell a deep, emotional, impactful story while also incorporating humor. Sometimes DC goes a bit too far on the brooding/serious side. What are your thoughts? And as for the poll, since I have SEVERELY limited experience with the comics, I'm basing this on the cinematic universe alone... which is your preference?

So I did some 'painting' today. I put that in quotes because the majority of what I did was painting a matte finish on parts of the dragons I wanted to not be so shiny. I think it does a great job to emphasize the shiny metallic scales without the unnatural gloss on the 'soft parts' I don't have a before pic of the bronze dragon, but you can see his tummy in the after pic too. The other guy I started on is the bard/warlock. The player wanted a bright almost peacock-esque look to the cape, and I think this looks pretty good. Of course photos of minis show everything in super close up detail - they tend to look different in person. Less messy looking, if that makes sense. But either way, this is just a start. Just wanted to share my progress with you guys :)

I didn't manage to paint or catch up on CR yesterday so I'm doing that today. I still need the day to do minimal exertion activities (so no content creating yet) but painting is A-OK! This is one of the minis I'm working on. The player is playing a Firbolg Grave Domain Cleric, but the mini is a Druid. I chopped off the thorny vine thingy, washed and then primed it with my airbrush. Time to switch to traditional brush painting now, along with a couple of other PC minis I'm in the process of painting. An Air Genassi Bard/Warlock and a Half-Elf Figher/Paladin. Also a few finishing touches on miscellaneous minis that have been on the 'to do' list for far too long!

So I made a big adulting decision today and ultimately scheduled an appointment to get my first vaccine shot this week. It's been a tough decision because I have a past history of becoming quite sick from vaccines, (not anaphylactic, thankfully, but fairly severe), but I think it's the right thing to do for me right now. Now that I've booked the appointment, all the anxiety is starting to hit me, however, so I think for my afternoon I'm going to disappear into some mini painting, and catching up on Critical Role. (I'm 2 episodes behind current).
