I felt the nurses hand on my arm, I just thought she was touching my skin to find the right spot to do the injection, but then she was putting on the bandaid! So that was a breeeze. They had me stay for half an hour afterwards just to monitor for those scary allergic reactions, but thankfully no problems there. Post injection, my arm is a little tender but I wouldn't go so far as to call it sore or painful. What is pretty overwhelming is the headache. I'm going to drink plenty of water, to make sure it's not dehydration and probably have a little lie down for a while. But so far so good. Truly, I'll have a better idea if I end up having a really bad flu reaction (as I have with past vaccines) tomorrow. Fingers crossed for now. All seems to be on par with what to expect.
