Okay, I keep sharing the latest polaroid photo. As always, I'm thrilled! Today I will share the thoughts that I voiced last night in a chat with a friend. You know, there are so many neurotics in the world. In my studies at film school and photo academy, I see this especially clearly. I hear what problems people are worried about, and it's very often about "oh, I do not know how to start, I'm afraid to make a mistake, I'm afraid to do the task and not cope with it, I'm afraid." Come on! We're not building a rocket, it's creativity. No one will die if you make a mistake. And what is a mistake? Who is the judge? There are so many judges in their heads.... The real strength lies in being able to give yourself freedom. They ask how not to be afraid? I tell them, well, just don't be afraid. They remain dissatisfied with this answer. They are waiting for clear instructions and guarantees. Without guarantees, they can't move. It's sad. But what makes me sadder is that this neuroticism is contagious. I often find echoes of this fear in myself. Most neurotics are infuriated when someone can do something they can't. They are suffocating with envy and trying to destroy everyone who dares to stop being afraid. It is advantageous for them to call someone an upstart, a narcissist, an egotist, but this is just manipulation. I constantly make sure that these manipulations do not interfere with my life and express myself. If I hadn't been wasting my energy on this internal struggle, I would have developed faster.
