Flora Rodgers for Fauna
I love the way erotica and nature can come together for photos. My love for the natural world is all encompassing and this includes accepting that so many things that the "fine art" nature photography world pretends doesn't exist, sexuality, birth, age, and human faces, are important parts of nature. We are more than abstract-anonymous limbs, though it is sometimes to be just that.
This shoot with Flora came out amazingly and I am so happy to share it here.

Or maybe this is Pulp? I'm not really sure when I left Seattle I felt like that was probably the end of Pulp as a series, but I almost feel like it works even better at our new place and maybe its worth pursuing. Either way I just loved shooting this set. Intimacy with self is a beautiful thing and being able to capture these images with Orchid in reflections and window light in the afternoon just made for a lovely set.

My very first shoot for Ask the Dust will always be a special one. I stopped in to visit with my friends at their new house and do this first photo shoot. The light streaming into their bedroom was just magical, and I fell in love with creating these unposed images and capturing intimacy.
