The reason the costs are so high is because I’m hiring a full staff of camera operators, production managers, editors, stylists, caterers, I’m paying for all of my marketing materials and I want to make sure I pay the other comics what they’re worth. Because I am a sex worker, I get turned away for a lot of opportunities in comedy. Which sucks, because I wouldn’t have the flexibility to pursue comedy if I wasn’t doing sex work. Corporations like Netflix, HBO, Comedy Central etc. aren’t willing to work with someone like me unless I prove myself 10x harder. This special is my way of proving to other people in this industry that I’m good at this, I want this, and that sex workers deserve the same amount of access and opportunities as everyone else. I can’t do this alone and I’m really leaning on your support. I know a lot of you just want me to shut up and get naked and that’s totally cool, I get it! I will!
