My first time reverse searing!

I dry brined the ribeyes (swipe to see what it looked like after dry brining for 3 days), then reverse seared in oven at 275F x 45 mins until internal temp was 120F, then seared in cast iron and butter basted with rosemary & garlic 🙂

I finally let him sleep in bed w me the last few nights because I was afraid his pull-up would leak but taking him out right before bed rly helps.

I had to give him insulin shots twice a day. Ive never had to stick a needle in a 🐕 before. Only humans 😅😅😅
He actually ran out of vet insulin so I had to buy human insulin from Walmart to hold him over until more of his vet insulin came. Apparently there’s a national shortage of vetsulin !!!

He’s such a sweet old guy even tho he is a little smelly. I’ll miss ya ole Roo !! ❤️ til next time!

I went to Esmé (Michelin star restaurant) and it was absolutely insane and breath taking.

The truffle pasta was the best thing I’ve ever tasted. I also really liked the caviar (it was served with ice cream so the sweetness really complimented the briny, saltiness of the caviar)

I tried milk splitting so my cortados would have the same amount of foam on top. This Australian barista I watched on YouTube said to pour half of the steamed milk out into a second pitcher right away after steaming (before even wiping the steam wand) so both pitchers have the same amount of foam for pouring art. Eh idk i still feel like the second pitcher has less foam.

Anyway I got a new hat to hide my horrible bed head hahahahhaa do u like it DADDY? 👀
