Update on Corny The Racoon: I just got off the phone with the veterinarian's office where he is at present and being cared for by a very caring vet and staff who are going the distance and then some for him. I asked that they please not give up on him and they assured Me that they would not and that they have been giving him intervenes fluids to keep him hydrated and have started him on steroids as well. The lady I spoke with did let Me know that he is less responsive than when I was present, however, was still breathing though it wasn't looking good at the moment. I reiterated that he showed the absolute will of life to Me and again she assumed Me that they would care for him and that the Vet herself is a rehabilitator and that if there was a way she would be able to offer it to him. I have informed them of your generous contributions toward his care and rehabilitation, and they as well as I and Corny thank you. I will post updates as I have them to share.

All of us here at MyOWF HQ are all wishing Corny the Racoon a fast and healthy recovery! I want to take a moment to thank you for caring and for your support. I have had a hard time sleeping worried about him, as well as all the other piling woes that seem to be hitting Me all at once. Life, right! All the same, if you know Me at all you know that I do what I can to help the world be a happier place, as I can, where I can, and do try to encourage others to do the same. If we are all doing our best then it shouldn't be long before we can get life back to a Golden Age once again. I'd like to see it within My lifetime and yours. So if you feel the same as I do, well, let's bust some ass and make it happen, yeah ;-) Will be sharing some more ideas on how we can do just that soon as I can develop a more solid plan, and with that said you are more than welcome to share your ideas too, I love being part of a group effort when it is for a better over all good ;-)

This here is an orphaned racoon whose family was killed when he was a smaller racoon and, without interfering with wild life, I have adored him from a far, as we should all do with any kind of wild life. However, with that said, today I broke that rule when I saw him laying like this, after what appears to be a fall either off the roof or out of one of the trees, he appeared to have hit the canopy which would have broken his fall a bit and I hope he has not broken anything. I call and called and finally found a lady willing to guide me in the right direction to a vet who specializes with raccoons and who really seemed to care. I will be staying up to date with his wellbeing and keep you posted to. Please wish him well and if you would like to help it would be greatly appreciated. I will try to get the direct information for you if you prefer do so directly. I too will be working hard to do what I can as well. I have been calling him Corey and he is a really cool guy and a cat lover too. I think he is a he, however, he could very well be a she too, not really sure as I didn't want to move him any more than I had to to get him to the vets. I'll be doing live sessions as often as I can to help raise funds to cover costs for his care and rehabilitation so he can then be released back into the wild where he was born and lives, so please do join me as you can and let make a difference for this little sweetie.
