Time to get a little personal... I’m so sorry I’ve been neglecting this account this month. I had a few major life situations come up. I have a strong family history of bipolar disorder, but thought I’d evaded that. I’ve struggled with depression in the past, but never mania. After the stress of being quarantined with my little ones for two weeks, I was suddenly elated, excited about everything, unable to sit still, dancing around my house but never becoming tired. I couldn’t sleep for a week, eventually becoming irritable and paranoid. I finally got a psychiatrist to see me and start working on medications, but they’re making me very sick while I adapt. It’s honestly hard to do anything at all. Even cooking and cleaning feel so out of reach. To top that off, I’m a mom. I used to get weeks here and there where their dad would take them. Then, he sent them to my home at 4am unattended in an Uber bc he was too messed up. Obviously, this means no more sharing of time - all me, all the time. It’s really hard to shoot customs etc when I’m never alone. Fortunately, I have awesome friends in my life who have agreed to become part of my little family. If I’ve owed you a video or anything for way too long, please tell me and let me either refund you or do it this week while I have a friend on call. I’m truly sorry for anything that has fallen through the cracks. I’m just as human as anyone else, however my life looks online. Much love and happy holidays to all of you.
