So I know a few weeks ago I had posted about having a hard time being away from my friends and family here in the sunshine state. Going through the breakup and losing all the friends I’d made to it was particularly difficult and I’d like to say thank you for all of the support and love. With my new job I’ve found tons of new friends and I finally don’t have to question if I belong somewhere. It did get better. So much better. Thank you for your encouragement 🖤

I know I seem like I’m doing a lot better, and I am but I just want to be honest. Moving away from my friends and family has started to feel like such a mistake. I spent the last two years cultivating friendships with people who secretly didn’t even care about me or like me. All of that has come to light recently and I’ve never felt more alone. I feel like an idiot. I’ve tried to start my life over in what’s supposed to be a never ending summer of paradise but it feels like anything but. I am however so grateful to have you guys. I just want to thank everyone who has offered and ear and sent messages of encouragement and support. I don’t know why it’s so hard to find real friends in your late 20s. But I really hope I find some soon. I know a lot of us here struggle with our social lives and I just want to say if you do you’re not alone. 🖤
