I purchased this little island table for my kitchen so I had a place to put my microwave and store additional pots, pans & bowls. However, I wanted to add a little something extra so I added on this cutting board which I installed with some gear so that it’s able to fold down whenever I need it to. You can tell by the different bamboo shades that I did it myself 😅 but hey that’s what makes it unique! Living in New York City, you have to create things that work with the lack of space you’ll have in your apartment.

Right here is my favorite and largest thing that I have ever made! My wooden bench that I hand cut and stained! I got inspired by a bench I saw online that I couldn’t afford and decided to recreate it! It now serves as my TV stand in my New York living room. I went to Home Depot and picked out the sturdiest wood they had for cheap, rented a saw and decided on measurements that worked for the bench and used the saw to cut all of the pieces in my home. (I had sawdust everywhere for days, worth it tho!) then I used wood glue to stack all of the wooden pieces on top of one another to create the pattern of the legs! The very first wooden square that is attached to the bench top is nailed in though to make sure it’s secure! If you like this bench let me know, and I’ll be sure to make a full video detailing all of the instructions for it! 😍😙
