Being over active can cause this but it can also be in result of being inactive for a large part of the day. Our bodies love movement! There are so many different ways that you can stretch your quads but I find this to be the easiest. Begin standing tall and well balanced. Lift one leg towards your glutes by grabbing your foot and bringing it back. Hold the position for 20-30 seconds then repeat, switching from one leg to the other ✨

It combines the action of the lunge with stepping upward, like climbing stairs, to really target your butt and upper hamstrings. It’s important to find a bench that when your foot is placed on it, it creates a 90° angle at the knee. When lifting yourself, you want to push through your entire foot. I like to complete 15 repetitions per foot or with explosive energy for 35 seconds 😊✨⚡️

My favorite way to start days like these is to fuel myself the right way. It can be so easy to rush out of the door, pick up some Starbucks, McDonald’s, etc. but I promise you, give your body what it needs and see the way it treats you better ♥️ I absolutely adore avocado toast in the morning because it supplies me with just enough (healthy) fats to keep me full until lunch time. Avocados are also high in fiber and all sorts of vitamins, like vitamin C, vitamin B, potassium, magnesium, and more!
