The work order said replace mailbox lock. These can be super simple or they can be problematic... This particular one picked open in two seconds! I didn't have an eye witness but I was on the phone with a coworker and he heard everything. Fastest $175 I've made this week.

Found the "top header bolt" of a 3 point Adams Rite double storefront doors frozen/jammed up with dust, dirt and debris. Manager was having trouble locking the door. The Adams Rite swingbolt activates the top header bolt of the inactive door leaf. As it was jammed with debris, the swingbolt would not fully lift the header bolt and lock. Cleaned, lubed and function checked 50+ times, working great now...

What began as a road trip to "hill country" turned into a time travel adventure in a small Texas town. Found this old Amarlite in a building that was built in the 1950s or 60s. I'm amazed how new it still looked. I converted the 4 pin Yale cylinders to 7 pin Medeco x4 SFIC. It still works like new and I'm still shaking my head over this rare find hahaja

Night drop box, a puck lock w/ Medeco cylinder. Key only inserted half way... could have been a headache job but my trusty magical key fairy was with me that day. Got it opened, cleaned out, lubed and replaced in just a few minutes.

Not sure what yahoo originally installed this but... 🙄 It was have issues and the maintenance guy took it apart to lube it. When he reinstalled it, it was misaligned and wouldn't work. He called us. I moved it up about an eighth of an inch and it works good now. The buttons are getting spongy so I'm going back to install a new combination chamber in it

Got a new van this week. 2023 Chevy Express 2500. Matilda, a 2015 Ford T250 Transit has over 292k miles, and is an old lady now. She wearing out. It was time to upgrade. I'm neither a Chevy or Ford guy, I go with best available option at the time. This time it was a new Express.

North Dallas- West bound in the I-635 Texpress lanes. The express lanes run underneath the regular interstate/freeway I-635 Anyways, a rock of some type flew over (I think) from the eastbound lanes. It could have came from the freeway above as well, I'm not sure. I don't know how fast the rock was coming at me but I was going 75-80 MPH. I saw a glimpse of something that looked to be between a golf ball and baseball size when it hit... It sounded like a fekkin' gun went off in the van. When I got home I reviewed the dash cam video and it didn't sound as loud on video, I was going so fast I can't see the rock on the video. The damage is slightly larger than the palm of my hand. Guess I'll be calling my insurance agent Monday morning. I'm really amazing it didn't go through the windshield 🤯
