2021-10-08 04:07:48 +0000 UTC View PostHey guys! I am SO sorry I've been MIA on here for the last few weeks! My tour schedule has been insanely hectic so I have barely had any time at home :( I'm gonna start getting back to some messages this week & when I finally have a week home soon I will start posting/DMing all the shit I've been taking but haven't been able to sort through or share yet! I feel like I'm constantly apologizing but ya girl is doing everything myself at the moment so I'm busy as fuck 😩 Hopefully soon I will have a manager helping me with other shit so I don't disappear for a month lol. BUT I have lots of giveaways (polaroids, prints, maybe some lingerie) for y'all when I get some time home so hopefully that will help make up for it :) As always, appreciate the support & understanding from everyone. Y'all are truly the best & I feel so blessed to have you on my team <3 xoxo, cc
2021-09-25 18:37:43 +0000 UTC View Posti wanted to touch on the new onlyfans rule changes (going into affect on october 1). i know i talked a lot about this on socials but it’s more relevant to those of you who actually use this site, so i’ll do a more in depth post here! i’m writing on my phone so i apologize in advance for the casual, twitter style writing & lack of capitalization. luckily (for me), this change does not seem to affect me since the wildest thing i ever did on here was send someone a PPV of my butt h0le 😹 in fact, this change is probably going to make me a lot better about using this account since apparently there will be an app which will make it 1000x easier to reply to messages regularly. it will also allow me to post a lot more content since i won’t have to worry about going through an intense age verification process just to post a selfie with a friend. right now i’m extremely restricted with the content i can post even though it isn’t sexual in nature. so if anything, my account & subscribers will benefit from these changes as it will make this site much easier to use (for me) and allow me to respond to messages more regularly & post way more content. HOWEVER, just because i can selfishly realize these changes probably benefit how i use the site, i’m also extremely aware of how these changes will negatively impact thousands & thousands of sex workers who use this site to sell explicit videos & no longer have a safe space to do that. you may see many big name performers saying “we’ll be okay” & they likely will. they have millions of followers who they can easily move to other platforms. they may see a small hit to their income, but they will be OKAY. the people who will be most negatively affected by this are the non-famous sex workers who worked for years to build small followings & live month to month on their earnings. a lot of those people don’t have other options for income & even one month of being without income could be seriously detrimental to their lives. if you sub to any people like this, i encourage you to keep their situations in mind over the next month & bless them with a little extra generosity if possible. & if you have any questions about this stuff, feel free to ask me (drop a comment if you send a DM about it since my inbox is a MESS currently lol) instead of asking those people going through a lot right now to constantly talk about this. as someone who is a retired sex worker who still associates heavily with that world, i am happy to do the emotional labor of chatting about this with y’all so they don’t have to. let’s let them worry about themselves at the moment! finally, it’s important for everyone to realize that these changes will likely not just impact onlyfans & are not simply the result of the company waking up one day & deciding they no longer want to deal with the risk. mastercard is initiating changes to their use policy on october 1 that require sites selling adult content to review ALL content *before* it is posted & moderate livestreams in real time. these changes will obviously cost a lot of money to implement and people fear that other payment services will soon follow. if that happens, the porn industry as we currently know it will cease to exist. this is not a new attack. when i started in the adult industry in 2013, tons of porn performers were struggling with having their bank accounts shut down. i was always very grateful that i had been gifted a USAA account by my father because that’s never been an issue with them. last year, a friend of mine who has a patreon & onlyfans where she posts nudes (not even porn!) and barely scrapes by had her pvypal shut down for SUSPECTED “illegal activity” during a pandemic. the wildest part was that they kept the money in it!!! they decided the money was earned illegally (based on nothing) & that she therefore had no right to keep it, but had no problem keeping this “illegal” money themselves. upsettingly, she also used her account with them to collect money on depop where she sold used clothes as a side hustle. because of her link to “sex work,” her ability to make money outside of it was also impacted - a common experience for many sex workers. the fact that major financial institutions can decide to shut down your ability to make money and steal money you earned due to SUSPECTING something without providing a way to challenge or appeal it is absolutely insane & should disturb everyone! whether they’re closing bank accounts, shutting down places like backpage where sex workers can more safely vet clients, or removing safe spaces like onlyfans where they can sell content without putting themselves at risk, these attacks on sex workers are not a new thing & have been going on for years behind the scenes. why is this happening? well, if you’re not already aware, the “anti trvfficking” industry is mostly made up of extremist christian organizations who spend millions of dollars every year to push their agenda. yes, there are good anti trvfficking orgs who do good work, but A LOT of them are puritanical in nature & do not see any difference between consensual & NC sex work. they do not believe consensual sex work is a real thing & they spend a ton of money to convince others of the same thing. one of these groups has been around since the 60s. it was initially known as the “morality in media” group & teamed up with Nixon in the 70s to ensure “obscenity laws” were upheld after a committee appointed by Lyndon B Johnson recommended that all adult obscenity laws be repealed. this group went on to condemn all kinds of “salacious” media from movies to madonna’s work. they are anti masturbation & anti porn. their purpose in life is to abolish all pornography, criminalize all sex work, & ultimately censor all media & art they find to be “unchristian” according to their extremist views. as society became a little more sex positive & open minded, these goals obviously didn’t jive with most sane people, so they adapted. in 2015 they changed their name to the “national center of sexual exploitation” & began to heavily focus their efforts on equating ALL sex work & pornography with trvfficking. this works because NO ONE is okay with trvfficking & everyone is upset by the idea of people, particular k1ds, being sexually exploited. these orgs can get people emotionally primed to receive misinformation & make it incredibly hard to dissent without looking like you don’t care about victims. as fucked up as it is, it’s also genius. another similar group known as exodus cry does the same. they block all consensual sex workers on social media because they don’t fit into their narrative that sex work isn’t inherently exploitive. they are not interested in making the lives of sex workers or trvfficking victims better or safer. their only goal is to eradicate it entirely (aka push it underground to the black market) regardless of the cost or the danger they put sex workers in. sadly, even many consensual sex workers (generally porn stars who are out of touch with everyday sex workers) & their so-called allies fall prey to these multi million dollar misinformation campaigns. you will see this with “sex positive & liberal” politicians who insist that the Nordic Model is what’s best for sex workers & victims even though research doesn’t support that claim for either group. i recently saw a “progressive” candidate supporting this model on twitter & claiming to care about sex workers. her tweet was drowning in thousands of replies from sex workers AND trvfficking survivors posting research & their personal experiences, but she had no interest in engaging with them. she, of course, had fallen victim to misinformation & used that misinformation to justify ignoring the very group of people she claims to want to help. one of the best ways to sus out which organizations & politicians are educated & actually have sex workers well-being in mind is by finding out if they support decrim. decrim is widely supported among sex workers and it’s what the legitimate, peer reviewed research says is most helpful for everyone involved, whether they’re consensual or not. i’ve even had to argue with many porn fans about this when i posted pro-decrim stuff on my socials because misinformation is so common, while actual sex worker stories & needs are routinely ignored. if they don’t support decrim, they’re either a victim of misinformation or a bad player who may even be responsible for the misinformation. either way, they’re not a good source of information. i tell you all this because we ALL need to be vigilante about misinformation. do not take statistics posted on any website, particularly anti-trvfficking sites, for granted. identify what study those numbers came from & evaluate the validity of the study based on the design and who funded it. i know it’s easy to brush this stuff off when it doesn’t affect us, but the truth is that it may someday do just that. if we allow extremist groups to use millions of dollars to spread misinformation & manipulate policy that harms marginalized groups, it’s only a matter of time before they set their sites on other targets. i would hope that most of you value the safety & well-being of sex workers, but even if you are just a sex positive person who values freedom in the mainstream media, this should concern you! i’m attaching a twitter thread to this post that i found very concise & informative that touches on a lot of what i just said. please drop a comment if you sent me a DM with questions about any of this stuff & i will prioritize those messages. i am also putting together a list of resources where you can find more information & learn how you can help, so i’ll share that asap! 2021-08-15 18:48:54 +0000 UTC View PostGood morning, everyone! Happy Friday the 13th! I'm off to Cleveland for a show tonight & then I fly home early tomorrow morning on no sleep to play a show here in Los Angeles so I'm going to have to finish the NYC blogs next week! They're almost ready to go at least, and one of them probably has the best food porn of the lot! In the meantime, I'm sending y'all some funny NSFW selfies & a video from the plane ride to NYC in your messages <3 I've also attached the show information in case any of y'all are in either city & want to come out! xoxo, cc
2021-08-13 13:36:12 +0000 UTC View PostNYC DAY #3 BLOG!!!! Okay, I'll try to keep this one shorter & more to the point than the last one... hahaha next joke. In the morning we went to the West Village and had breakfast sandwiches & coffees at THREE OWLS MARKET. I wouldn't say it was the best place I've ever been, but if I lived close to it I would definitely be a regular. They had a regular menu, an assortment of pre-made mains & sides (like a mini Erewhon, but not nearly as expensive), & tons of drinks (coffee was good too!). I got a yummy breakfast sandwich & side of kale salad because I severely needed some greens in my diet. I don't usually eat much bread, so you can imagine the amount of carbs I was consuming wasn't sitting *great* with my body. But when in NYC, amirite? From there we took a walk to the LITTLE ISLAND which is a recent manmade island at one of the destroyed piers that apparently a multi billionaire gifted to the city. Imagine being so rich that you're like, "I'm going to build an island and give it to NYC for funsies." Wild. There was nothing going on at the time so it wasn't that exciting, but there's an intimate amphitheater overlooking the bay that I would love love love to see a show at someday. For dinner we went to BAR PRIMI in Little Italy. It was early so it was pretty empty but it was starting to fill up when we left. Before I go into the food, I have a confession to make. I'm not sure if most of y'all know this but... I *really* dislike almost all cheese. I know, I know. I'm not proud of it! And I'm not a picky eater! I promise, it's not a choice. My body reacts like I drank curdled milk (which like, it kind of is? just saying). As a foodie, it can make things difficult since cheese is kind of everyone else's favorite thing. I can do some occasionally, like mozzarella on pizza, pepper jack on a breakfast burrito, or parmesan fries, but I often end up peeling some of it off because it's too much and anything beyond that grosses me out. I can immediately tell when something has unwanted cheese even when the cheese lovers can't taste it. Recently, I learned to enjoy triple creme brie, although I'm still picky about it and only use small amounts. So when Spencer wanted to order the truffle ricotta crostini... I was not about it. I like lasagna but I always secretly scrape off the ricotta because the texture grosses me out. I'm also not a huge fan of truffle. In small amounts it's okay, but it's usually overdone for me. However, being an adventurous spirit I decided to try it and OH GOD, WAS IT GOOD! The truffle honey smelled strong but tasted light, the hazelnuts were perfect, and without the typical ricotta texture, I actually like ricotta? Who knew! Our mains were a garlic linguine which was amazing (but definitely not a first date meal) and an orecchiette with broccoli rabe and sausage which was one of my favorite dishes of the trip. It was pasta, but the broccoli rabe convinced me it was healthy. We also had another kale salad (need those greens) which was really yummy for being what it was. I needed a nap & a shower after that meal, but eventually we ended up at FIG 19 - a cool speakeasy type spot that was a bit difficult to find because you have to walk through an art gallery first, so from the street it didn't look like the right place. Luckily the bouncers were around and helped us out! It was very small and pretty busy, but we were able to get drinks in 15 minutes and snag a seat after about 30 minutes. The drinks were good, although nothing as exciting as Apothoke, and the decor was a vibe with bad taxidermy, chandeliers, and a fireplace filled with candles. I also noticed people were really friendly in there. We didn't stay long but I chatted with a few groups while waiting on drinks and got really welcoming energy from everyone. They all took one look at my outfit and somehow knew I was from LA. Happens every time I go to NYC! Unfortunately, the speakeasy I wanted to hit next was a 40 minute wait, so we decided to just head on over to WEBSTER HALL which is actually where I played my first ever professional DJ set before it closed (and then reopened). We ended up there because Penny was performing at the event called DEVIL'S PLAYGROUND, an iconic party in the gay scene. She's part of a larger production at a later date, but they were performing a few numbers at the party. I expected it to be more of a live show, but it was basically just a club vibe with a DJ and a few musical style drag performances towards the end. The DJ was fantastic (if you've never been to a gay club, they usually are) and played all the feels from groovy house music to Avril Lavigne. PHOTOS: West Village selfie, spicy breakfast sandwich, yummy yuzu seltzer, me trying to take a picture & failing at the Little Island, Bar Primi, ricotta crostini, garlic linguine, sausage orecchiette, sad attempt at a selfie with a skull in a very dark Fig 19, Webster Hall, & some grungy mirror selfies in the venue bathroom stall xoxo, cc
2021-08-12 23:25:41 +0000 UTC View PostNYC DAY #2 BLOG!!!! I was boring & just ordered coffee from the hotel, mostly because I slept late & spent all morning trying to plan my day so I wanted to get a move on. I also skipped breakfast so I could work up an appetite for dinner. Spencer had to work so I decided to take advantage of the solo time to shop. Sadly, a lot of places I had really wanted to check out were closed since COVID, but I was also wayyyy over ambitious with how many places I could make it to (I can't even walk into a Target and only spend 15 minutes in there, let alone a thrift store) so I don't think I would have even made it to the street where they were! I get that some of you are like, "I signed up for this for the nudes, why the fuck is she talking about shopping?" But this isn't just any shopping, this was a cultural experience! As you *should* know, my brand Los Angeles After Dark is partially inspired by punk, so I was looking for inspiration more than anything, especially since I was staying near the East Village which was the SPOT back in the 70s. Obviously, punk isn't just fashion. It's a movement, it's music, it's an ethos, it's an attitude. But I wanted to go window thrifting as my Artist Date (per my post about The Artist's Way) so that's what I dove into. First I hit SEARCH & DESTROY, a mid to high priced thrift store. Tees cost $50-150, leather jackets $200-600. The most expensive stuff was REALLY cool one-of-a-kind shit, but the store was crammed so I can't believe it was all that curated or that the average piece in there is as unique or valuable as the price suggested. I literally could not take anything off of a rack because it was impossible to hang back up, but it was worth going just because of all the wild stuff in there - lots of crazy porn on the walls & furry costumes & shit. My favorite items were a long sleeved t-shirt with a black & white photo of a naked man having his dick sucked, a backpack fully covered in a collage of Michelle Obama, & some black jeans with hand stitched bone patches on them. I got yelled at for taking a picture to send to Natalie though - not very punk of them imo. Felt pretentious & like it went against the IDGAF vibe they were trying to put off so I decided not to buy anything. Then I hit TRASH & VAUDEVILLE which isn't a thrift store but has been around since the 70s so I wanted to check it out. I would describe it as a basics store for punks/goths. It was the least exciting place but the woman who worked there was really nice & I ended up buying a plaid skirt because I had been meaning to get one anyway. I wandered through Tompkins Square Park on my way to THE CAST which was probably my favorite place. This was like... minimalist/chic punk vibes. It was heavy on the leather, black & white, leopard, & red like all the other places, but it was mostly very understated & wearable anywhere. It wasn't cheap, but it wasn't pretentiously priced either and seemed on par for the quality. The manager was a super hot chick with pale skin & dark hair with those typical "alt" bangs like a "stereotypical goth girl," but she wasn't wearing any makeup & was rocking simple black leggings & a leather jacket. I tell you this because she personified the store in my opinion. She gave approachable, cool girl vibes without trying. The store had it's own brand as well as a few others, but my favorite section was the highly curated vintage section, specifically the fun lingerie they had! I ended up buying a vintage robe for Natalie because she's been wanting one for a while (& took pictures in it for y'all lol). Oh god. I really did rant & rave hahaha. I didn't mean to go *that* into detail about shopping on here but I did... oops. I won't be offended if you don't give a shit lol. On the way home I went to STANLEY'S PHARMACY which is a pharmacy but also a health & wellness juice type spot? I'm not totally sure because they weren't open to walk into (fuckin' COVID!), so I just ordered a juice from the outdoor counter. The guy working there seemed like a trip & he made me a spicy ginger juice that was delish & so refreshing. I would definitely go back to see what it looks like inside and what else they sell! After Spencer's speaking engagement it was finally time for dinner!!!! Penny chose a spot called PEASANT and as usual she did not disappoint. It's wonderful having friends who appreciate good food as much as I do, because someone *always* comes through with a fire pick. I am *truly* sorry I have no food porn from dinner for you, but I was very intoxicated & it was very dark so they would have been trash anyway. However, the food was NOT trash. It was fucking great. Natalie, Penny, & I split the hot oysters in bone marrow, cacio e pepe bucatini, & pepperoni flat bread. At first I felt meh about the oysters because what I love about oysters is them being raw and refreshing, so being hot & fatty kind of defeats the purpose imo. But then I discovered putting the oysters on bread and drizzling the bone marrow on top and I was sold. The bucatini was brought out in a mason jar which we all thought was... a weird presentation choice... but it was my favorite pasta of the weekend! Very very al dente, very very good. The pepperoni flat bread was unremarkable, but that's exactly how I like my flatbreads. I don't want a weird cheese or experimental ingredients. I also loved the drink I ordered so much that I got it twice when I usually like to switch things up. I have no recollection of what it was called or what was in it, but the waitress told me I'm apparently only the second person to order it? LOL - I have no idea why because it was very unaggressive but still flavorful and not too sweet. It reminded me of a Manhattan but wasn't made with whiskey. After dinner we went to APOTHOKE much to my excitement. I love craft cocktails, but a lot of places are underwhelming and have extremely similar drinks with a high price tag and mediocre bartenders. Not Apothoke! Not only did they have very unique & interesting cocktails made by top notch bartenders, but an absinthe bar as well. The bartender was great & made me a tequila shot that I actually liked! I think it had chartreuse in it, but whatever it was, it got me to fuck with tequila so I was impressed! They even made my sober friend a fancy virgin cocktail which was nice since she usually gets stuck drinking soda water. My only complaint is that it was much more loud and packed than I had imagined, but I found out they have an LA location as well so I'll definitely be stopping in there at an earlier hour for more chill vibes. I didn't plan on going to any clubs in NYC (I get enough of that with work), but a friend of mine from Texas invited us to LITTLE SISTER because his friend was playing. It's a lot easier to entice me to a club when I don't have to wait in line for entry or drinks and get to chill in the DJ booth! He was a great DJ though so I ended up having a lot of fun... possibly too much. I *may* have dropped my open purse & lost a few items... *facepalm* Anyway, SORRY THIS WAS SO LONG! I was enjoying reliving it though haha. I took a few NSFW pics in the robe so those will be in your inbox :) xoxo, cc PHOTOS: the robe I got Natalie, the spicy ginger juice, a dumb selfie, one of my drinks at Apothoke (pisco with dandelion root, lemon, egg white, lemon verbena, daisy flower), me being very lit at Penny's apartment, & the outside of Search & Destroy TL;DR - I hit a few stores in the East Village in an attempt to immerse myself in punk fashion for the day, ate some dank food, had some great drinks, & danced to some great music!
2021-08-12 01:03:39 +0000 UTC View PostNYC BLOG!!!! I had a blast last week eating my own weight in food daily & dancing till dawn so I thought I would do a little write up of where we stayed/ate/drank. I know I'm always looking for recommendations from friends so hopefully you find this interesting/helpful! I'll break it down into a post for each day cause y'all know I'm long winded as fuck and will probably rant away about each place. Here's Day #1!!! We stayed at PUBLIC which is kind of on the border of LES & SOHO area. The room was *much* smaller than it looked online so I had trouble fitting all of our shit into the storage spaces, but the aesthetic was nice, we had a pretty decent view for the price, & were able to check in hours before the time we were told (thank god after that red eye flight from LA). They also had plenty of food/drink options that weren't insanely overpriced for on the go. There were definitely things that could have been improved, but I would definitely stay here again considering the value for the price. My favorite feature was that every floor had a room with essentials (filtered water machine, razors, toothbrushes, irons, towels, etc) so best believe ya girl stayed hydrated with good tasting water so easily available. Obviously, I needed coffee stat, so I hit THE LAZY LLAMA COFFEE BAR just down the street. Both the croissant egg sandwich & bagel were dank, coffee was good, matcha was just fine but I appreciated that it wasn't sweetened, & the outdoor seating area was a vibe. My only disappointment was that they had JUST run out of their egg salad sandwich (the guy in front of me got the last one!) which looked really good and is apparently popular. I have to be honest, I had never had a bagel in NYC before, but the place we go to and love in LA is an NYC spot that even imports their water for boiling to make them authentic here. The minute I bit into my first NY bagel (in NYC), I was immediately reminded of our LA spot. I can't put my finger on what it is, but I definitely understand that NY bagels are special and feel blessed to have an authentic spot so close to us in Cali! Before dinner we hit THE ROOFTOP @ PUBLIC which was just the rooftop bar of our hotel. We went here twice during the trip, mainly because it was so convenient. I managed to get a seat because it was only 6pm on a Wednesday but I think reservations are necessary if you want to sit down on the weekend. They have standing area around the bar though so if you don't get one you can still go. The drinks are pretty good but definitely not worth the price (around $20), but you're paying for the view. We only went during the early evening when it was more laid back, but I heard it gets poppin' at night. Sadly, we didn't go anywhere for dinner because we had a catered dinner at the event we went to. Afterwards we hit RAY'S which is a bar frequented by locals & supposedly owned by one of the actor's in Succession so apparently some of the cast is in there a lot. I didn't get ID'd which disturbed me lol, but I met a nice regular named Joe who recommended I read David Hawkins so I ordered the book he suggested on Amazon! While we were there, a guy came up to us and asked if we wanted to go to the party downstairs which was in a tiny room only accessible by a flight of furry stairs. Yes, furry. Furry walls, furry floor, furry everywhere. In the room was a Miami DJ playing 2013 hip hop (literally it's all he played - I didn't hear one new song) and a younger crowd than upstairs drinking what I imagine was jungle juice out of an igloo cooler. I declined to imbibe it though, so it could have been lean for all I know. It was definitely a vibe, but it was a room for dancing & sweating when I was more interested in chatting with old (& new!) friends. After the bar we were hungry af, so I ordered from a ramen place that I don't remember the name of nor do I care to look it up because it was awful. So so bad. The broth was meh, but the noodle were mushy which is what really killed it for me. My dr*nk ass ordered 4 bowls (gotta try 'em all!) and only ended up eating a few bites of the 2 I didn't totally hate. Really my only disappointment on the trip though! Not much food porn for you on this day, but I promise it's coming <3 xoxo, cc

I've been feeling super MEH since life started to go back to "normal" as I'm sure many of y'all can relate to, so I picked up this book my friend recommended for improving/inspiring creativity called The Artist's Way. I just started it this week, but I'm super excited about it and thought it may be of use to some of you! It's a 12 week program but you only have to read one chapter a week. The main time commitment is the exercises in each chapter as well as the every week tasks which include 1. daily morning pages (3 pages of long hand stream of consciousness writing) and 2. weekly artist's date (taking yourself on a solo adventure for a few hours). I've been really enjoying the morning pages because it's always been something I knew I should probably be doing, but needed a kick in the butt to start. As soon as I read the intro to the book I immediately ordered 2 copies for some friends so we could do it at the same time and keep each other accountable! I did *kind of* cheat on my Artist's Date because I used the time to set up a little creative space and photo area in our spare room, which isn't exactly an adventure, but I felt like it was important for both my mental & creative well being :) I can't speak on its success until I finish it, but I've heard amazing things about it so I'm excited for this journey! xoxo, cc P.S. check your inbox for the spicier pics ;)
