So I decided to go back into the video edits and modify it a little more. I did some more research & learned a few new things so while I'm adding even more behid-the-scenes work for myself this way, I'm feeling happier with the end result. Still more work to do, but improvements so far are *chefs kiss* 🥰

So I spent a good 9 hours editing my new video and it's finally finished! It's definitely something I'm proud of, despite it being obvious it's my first attempt at a whole fuck ton of video editing stuffs - it's a real piece of art! It's trippy and amazing and I'm super happy with the outcome! It's going to be an exclusive video for my MFC art club. Details about how to join coming soon!

Wing update! So While using the heat gun to laminate the 'bottom' wings, I accidentally melted a hole in one, but it's ok. That part will get wrapped in electrical tape anyway. This is the first time I'm making something like this so it's a learning process. Speaking of learning processes - the wire I got is too flimsy, so now that the wings are finished, the wire isn't strong enough to support the wings. It's ok, I'm going to order some more wire in a different gauge for the next set. Anyway so to the photos - I used the heat tool to 'cut' out the wings after they were fully laminated, and then I brought them back inside to wrap them all together to the base to complete the wings! They look AMAZING! So they will just slip into a corset and once I get sturdier wire they will stand up better. (right now they kind of fall down right away lol) Also, I'm good at lacing myself into a corset, but man, it's hard to lace one onto a mannequin! (so I didn't lace it up very tight, but that's ok - this way you can see how the base just sits in it. On a properly laced corset the back piece will be all but hidden!) Anyway, so I'm learning. And I'm SUPER happy with how set 1 has turned out, even if these particular ones are droopy wings! 😅

Wing progress update! So I didn't clean the whole garage, and I didn't clean the floor (I honestly just put some cardboard boxes down to stand on 😅) but I cleaned off my work station, grabbed my respirator, opened the window and got to work. It was hard to hand laminate them with the heat gun, and finding the right distance to start the laminating process without melting the vinyl (the wrong kind of melting!) was challenging, but all in all I think it turned out ok. Then, once the wires were sealed in place well enough I took it inside to iron it and complete the laminating process. Honestly, after ironing it, the film ended up with all sorts of little wrinkles and deviations, which concerned me at first, but looking at it, I think it looks SO MUCH like real wings texture, I love it! Now to take it back to the garage work station to melt the excess off with my heat tool, which will seal the plastic together perfectly! I haven't done that part yet because I was too excited to show you the progress so far!! 🤩 EDIT: Sorry I didn't resize or reorient the photos, I just wanted to get them up for you to see! Also disregard the ugly orange bandage on my hand... I have a boo-boo from something else, but my skin doesn't like bandaid adhesive so I use this wrap stuff that sticks to itself but not your skin. It's good stuff!

Good Friday morning! I had a very productive day yesterday, and I'm feeling super good about it. I'm going to be cleaning the garage today (well, at least the side where my 'stinky workstation' is) so that I can continue my efforts on my first pair of wings. I actually got a lot done for MFC stuff too and I'm getting more and more excited. Still a ways to go but little by little it's coming together. Clubs, tip menu, etc. I took an inventory of my toys and supplies and I realize I need spanking paddles. OMG I found the most GORGEOUS tentacle paddle on etsy, but it's WAY too expensive, but a girl can dream, right? One day! Until then, I'm going to see what I can find that is more reasonably priced so that I can at least have *something* for when I return to cam. So question for you guys... do you want some sneak peeks of what I've been putting together for MFC or do you want it to all be a surprise when I am ready to return to cam?
