I am so proud of my daughter Giselle. I see my features and some of my movements in her: like crumpling up the packet when it's finished. I like that she copies what I do. And I often learn things from my daughter too. We have carried that look of hers with us for generations and generations. In this video we speak in English and smoke the last two cigarettes of a packet of Merit with a colored filter. My daughter loves to smoke with me. I breastfed her a long time ago. And today it's as if she still needs my smoky nectar. I worry about her: I ask her how much she's smoking today, and she asks me, almost as if she wants to imitate me in our common passion: smoking!

Sono così orgogliosa di mia figlia Giselle. Vedo in lei i miei tratti e alcune mie movenze: come quella di accartocciare il pacchetto quando è finito. Mi piace che lei copi quello che faccio io. E spesso anche io imparo cose da mia figlia. Quel taglio di occhi ce lo portiamo appresso da generazioni e generazioni. In questo video parliamo in inglese e fumiamo le ultime due sigarette di un pacchetto di Merit con filtro colorato. Mia figlia ama fumare con me. L'ho allattata tanto tempo fa. E oggi è come se avesse ancora bisogno del mio fumoso nettare. Io mi preoccupo per lei: le chiedo quanto sta fumando oggi, e lei lo chiede a me, quasi che voglia imitarmi anche nella nostra comune passione: il fumo!
