โจ my trip to volcano โจ ๐ฎ. The road started being bumpy, and it got cold, no, it got SO COLD!!! I had no idea thereโs such temperature in South Asia. I live in the place where itโs usually stable 22-30ยฐC, but there, it felt like Iโm back to Russia. It felt like the end of autumn and the the beginning of winter in my hometown. The van stopped and we went to a tavern to drink some tea to warm up. There they also were selling jackets and hats for people who were not prepared for this, but we were good (after tea I got so hot so I was completely sure Iโll be fine lol) ๐ Then a tour guide gave us flashlights and respirators, which was so exciting, I felt like a horror game character ๐ And we started our long, 5km upstairs walk to the volcano ๐คฉ The road was damn hard, especially for nerds and smokers like me, who donโt usually walk that much, so I had to stop every ten minutes just to breathe and be sure that my heart wonโt jump out of my chest โ๐ป๐ฏ The higher we went, the harder it was to breathe, there was a sulfur smoke in the air and I could actually feel it falling on my lungs. So it was time to wear uncomfortable respirators which hard as well to breathe in ๐คช There also were โtaxiโ men, who could lift you up or down on a cart(?), but it seemed like a tough-slave-kind of job, the service I would never use.. Iโm going upstairs suffering, but what would a man feel like going upstairs, carrying a cart with a grown ass lady in it ๐ญ At the same time I want them to make money, but I also didnโt want to make them do it even though itโs their jobโฆ๐ Anyways, walking, whining, looking around, already being nicely shocked by the views, we got on the top!
