Added 2022-01-14 04:34:33 +0000 UTChey babies 💫 i’m sorry i haven’t been very active lately, a lot has happened in the past two months. i’m not tryna have a pity party - i just wanna explain what’s been going on for me.❤️‍🩹 on top of already struggling with housing, im dealing with an assault case, i was also hospitalised for my mental health earlier this year, which was a traumatic experience on its own (being cuffed by cops, taken involuntarily, sedated and treated like shit by hospital staff). i’m unable to work or make more content because of health issues including a period that has lasted nearly 20 days. as a last resort my boyfriend (Ash) and i are currently staying in the living room of Aura's 2 bedroom apartment, with a total of 5 people living here. Ash and i were financially and mentally abused by my “uncle” over lockdown and then kicked out during his fit of rage over crumbs on the kitchen floor. we have moved over 8 times since lockdown, all places have been temporary, and of course don’t allow me to have my cat. this is all really hard on my mental health and causing my OCD to really kick in. it’s finally looking like i’ve secured an apartment in Auckland city but sorting out the bond is a huge fuck around (i lost my $3k of savings to my uncle over lockdown which was supposed to buy me a car and pay for a bond). last but not least, because of my living situation my mental health care has been transferred from Rodney to Auckland, which means starting all over again.. a completely new mental health team + a months long wait list to restart the DBT course (dialectical behaviour therapy), which i already waited 5 months to even be assessed to get into. anyways if you made it this far - thank you for taking the time to read, and thank you for your support, it means the absolute world to me.
