Underwear - as a symbol of male sexuality
In 1982, Calvin Klein released fashionable underwear, turning the idea of the male image upside down. If earlier female models were the object of sexuality, then underwear of a famous brand proved that sexuality is characteristic of everyone, including men. The main feature of the models of the popular trading house are men's briefs with a wide elastic band and with the brand's inscription, which can slightly peek out from under the belt of trousers or jeans. American actor Antonio Sabato and popular rapper Marky Mark, now better known as actor Mark Wahlberg, were invited to advertise Calvin Klein underwear. For the first time showing a beautiful half-naked body, Calvin Klein introduced the concept of sexuality as an aesthetic element of the male image.
