My boyfriend was by my side, as always, making sure I was completely spoiled. He’s good at that—knows exactly how I like my towel folded and when to top up my sunscreen. It’s the little things that make him so perfect for me.
But, oh, let me tell you about what happened by the pool.
I spotted this guy—tall, broad shoulders, the kind of face you don’t forget. He wasn’t just handsome; he had that quiet confidence, like he didn’t have to try too hard. You know the type. I couldn’t help myself; I kept stealing glances, and i know he noticed because he gave me this little smirk.
My boyfriend noticed too, of course. He always does. I didn’t say anything, but I didn’t have to. I got up, told him to stay where he was, and wandered over to grab a drink. Coincidentally, or not, the guy was right there.
We exchanged a few words—just casual, polite, nothing crazy—but there was this little spark, this playful energy. It felt like one of those movie moments, except better because I was in control of it all.
When I got back to our lounger, my boyfriend looked at me, curious but quiet. I leaned over and kissed him softly, just to remind him that he’s exactly where he’s meant to be: by my side, watching me live my best life.
