This was my second real international test to see how our planning and research strategies for creating in places we had never been would work internationally, and our first time guest teaching at a workshop and it was a bit of a wake up call as to the state of the industry.
The workshop we joined up with to our surprise had not been planned, not been researched, and the most important things like "how will we all eat" had not been addressed. It was a disaster that we did our best to make the best of. I learned a lot of what I never wanted my workshops to look like, and I learned that left to our own devices Nicole and I were more than capable of planning a wildly successful solo trip.
