Added 2020-08-18 22:17:48 +0000 UTCIt used to be we’d spend weeks on the road. Sleeping in the front seat of the car or couch surfing with friends. When the time inbetween nights in a bed got to be too long we’d cave and find the cheapest motel we could.
I never slept well those nights. You get used to living out the car, and rooms motel rooms felt heavy. We’d try to sleep but often we’d lay around sleepless. Maybe the light would catch @vauntastic a certain way and we’d do a shoot different from the explorations in nature.
Something unplanned and intimate. The origins of Ask the Dust are somewhere just off the highway in Oklahoma in the glow of a television and old fluorescent lights.
