I've got ropa vieja simmering on the stove for Christmas Eve dinner and one of my housemates got two pies from the local bakery. It's toasty and dry in the apartment, which has knocked the piano out of tune but encourages us to keep clothes to a minimum. All in all, I'm so happy to be here with this little family that's real near and dear to me. I hope you're well. Send me a message, let me know how you're doing and what you're up to.
