Added 2023-04-11 11:27:25 +0000 UTCI watched Alien for the first time ever yesterday and it was BEAUTIFUL. visually gorgeous, shot in such a poetic and thrilling way, and the texture of the world they built for the movie was so palpable. I also watched Aliens for the first time ever yesterday and realized that James Cameron basically makes the same corny military movie with horrible dialogue every time he directs*. Sigourney Weaver's character is barely even the same. It's wild to see how much one person could wreck something that didn't need anyone to touch it. FIGHT ME if you think I'm wrong lmao *exception: Titanic, tbd, will watch again and report back. Will also watch Terminator for the first time.
