Because the difference between natural landscape and human landscape is arbitrary, unless we believe that homo sapiens aren't part of the nature.
Besides, here is the only place where the Atlantic Forest is preserved.
But of course we have some facilities, like streets, buildings and electricity, cause we live in the woods, but we have needs of the XXI century.
