Inhale deeply through your nose filling your lungs completely.
As you exhale purse your lips so that your cheeks inflate. Exhale through your mouth for a count of 10.
Set a timer and repeat this sequence for 5 minutes. Notice how you feel after this practice.

The pressure from the inflation of your cheeks presses on the Vagus nerve at the back of the throat and downshifts our nervous system into rest and repair mode.
Call upon this practice whenever you need to calm down.
