

✨Do you ever find yourself feeling disconnected from your body or lost in your mind during sex or self pleasure? ✨ -Whether it being how good it feels and only being present in the physical feeling and looks of it, possibly racing and holding on to the next high - The mind held in anxiety or a freeze, wanting to let go but wanting more to please a partner so the body, disconnects into performance -The mind telling you where to go, what to do, what you should be doing more of or less of, or telling you to hold control etc 👉🏻Adrenaline, our societal conditioning of sex on top of the rushes of dopamine together can leave us in a tunnel at times and lost in the state of the shoulds or the high. In all of this, we can easily disconnect from our present experience in sex or self pleasure, the partners we are with and the depth of it all at times. 👉🏻A few ways to guide ourselves back into the body when we are deep in the mind or disconnected from the body - 💫 Come back to focus of the BREATH - Feeling your body’s connection to it, feel it moving through your body, feeling it bringing aliveness through your veins. Our breath has the ability to ground us. Slow, gentle breaths and feeling them guided inward allows us to come back to the body. 💫Bringing awareness to our body, areas of our body and our connection of our body to the space around us. A simple body scan and self touch together with that. Using the body as a scanning tool to ground yourself back inward and to the present moment, space and experience can be powerful. 💫 Using sound to ground you back - Bring awareness to the breath and allow exhaling with sounds that ground you back to the body. An mmmm where you feel it in your spine connecting to the ground. An oooooo where you feel your feet connecting back to the floor. Use sounds that guide you. The greatest high we can experience is here in the present moment. When you feel yourself tunneling, know you can guide yourself back ✨
