oops y’all - my second post yesterday (deleted) was a duplicate of the first one, it was a “scheduled post” that i forgot to deal with due to being so paralysed by the news yesterday that i didn’t even go online. every once in a while i will schedule posts if i’m not feeling well or have a reason to be offline

i don’t mean to get political on a porn account (feel free to skip this entirely, i will get back to posting your regularly scheduled programming of smut shortly) but i can not be numb to what is happening right now. physically, i feel numb, and my empathy goes out to those out there hurting right now. it needs to be said, if only for the sake of voicing my beliefs and doing the least possible i can do. we are humans beings, all of us, and we must treat each other with kindness and compassion.

i live in LA, and i could hear the commotion of the fairfax district / melrose street episode from my place last night. it’s a mix of awe and unsettlement. absolutely surreal. honestly it is hard to watch the news and watch this happen because you can see a division: the people who are there to peacefully protest for BLM and to honor/avenge george floyd’s legacy (and that of many many others) who are awesome and brave and really doing the necessary work! i would in a heartbeat join their peaceful protest but i’m sick and symptomatic rn, and because the close quarters of the protes, staying home for safety. there are also people there looting and causing destruction of a nature that has nothing to do with the BLM protest’s original message, who are seemingly there from an organized plan to loot the stores. some of the instigators are also c*ps, who imitate protesters to implicate them later. beware, the c*ps are not what they seem. they are not above causing wreckage to property and to civilians to uphold their authority

walmart, gucci, the grove — tear that shit down imo, those feckless capitalist institutions can hit the ground. they have the resources to recover anyway. its sad to see LA go in flames, but some of this justice is served! the small businesses, however, i feel very weird and sad about. my mom has a store on melrose and many of my friends work at small mom and pop shops in that area, some of which are POC owned. there is also a kitten cafe on that street and my heart breaks for them exposed to it. if any of the kittens were, those people are going to the motherfuck of hell (and not the one we are in now)

why this escalation escalated to that degree i do not know. the c*ps are aggroooo and i heard from friends who peacefully attended that some c*ps were the ones instigating on peaceful protesters (some of them also joined the protests? good for them but still doesn’t excuse police br*tality). outrageous.. the agrooo c*ps and the non-protesting looters were the biggest problems in these events. we also don’t need a police state, or the literal military fucking patrolling the streets. crazy how getting PPE and covid resources was like impossible, and at the snap of a finger the governor brings in the national guard. hmm it’s sus 🤔 these are some fear mongering tactics and orwellian times

imo, a little bit of v*olence is needed to spread the message because authority figures will not listen to reason. the people running/policing the country are older and have ingrained r*cist and s*xist prejudices. when they are voted out of their positions, there will be a new day, as it seems like the younger gens are more vigilant and compassionate. whether that happens over time or by a quick overthrow remains to be seen.

this is insane, the first weekend that LA country was really supposed to reopen restaraunt and allow small gatherings; could have been a weekend of celebration and turned into a circle of hell. this is a necessary one, i believe. at some point it was going to happen. the timing of it, amidst a global pandemic when the city of LA is weaker than usual, was prime for this chaos to happen. how are people not afraid to catch the virus though?? in such close quarters... i bet there will be another covid spike after these protests.

i have been typing a lot... whew. and this is only the tip of the iceberg. we must all do a lot of inner and outer work to propagate a message of peace, justice and education. please educate yourselves, and do the work irl. online it can be an echo chamber but irl you will show who you are and what you stand for with your words and actions

TLDR; fuck the police, and shame on the people who joined the peaceful protest to serve their own selfish violet agenda. my love to everyone out doing the work, stay safe out there ❤️
