Somehow it brings me comfort that I can commiserate with ppl who are also having a dark time/trauma. I know it’s selfish but isn’t it comforting, a shared misery? I grew up with a view of the world in which everyone was more fortunate than I, and it fucked me up. In reality, we all suffer 💀 🏝 Still I am lucky in some ways, and this little cat is lucky I can give her a loving home 💞
