I’ve been watching Twin Peaks with the boys, and the Angelyne series (she’s an LA local legend but idk if ppl outside of Cali know her… Bimbo icon with pink corvette who marketed herself on billboards) 💕: I used to be her personal assistant when I got out of college, and the show’s details about her look/studio/persona/certain things she says are so accurate I am pretty shook. She was, for lack of a better word, absolutely crazy, but to some, madness goes hand in hand with genius.
I feel like I could write an essay about this woman — not in a slanderous tell-all way, but rather a cultural analysis. To me she embodies something completely beyond herself, and in her own words, “ripped the seams of the fabric of reality”.
