I was left with no choice but to rummage through some of my old going out dresses from when I wasn’t so big… It’s only in the last few years that I’ve become the ‘fat friend’, but in this situation there was no way of hiding how much I’ve gained, or the big belly that wasn’t so prominent the last time my friends saw me.
