Today has been a bit of a day. I came within moments of professionally retiring, no bullshit. There's some scary shit happening in the industry, the epicenter includes a Vegas based producer, who also performs, who is falsifying his health certifications. Normally, this would be an alarming event. However, given the widespread effect it's had on the performer pool, it's been horrific. Not so porno-like. Yeah, I get it. So, the naysayers are squarely invited to kiss my ass, before any inclination to complain takes over your temptation. This shit is real. People think the industry is a glamourous cop out to living an organized, respectable life. Nothing can be farther from the truth. Maintaining a career in this adult industry comes at a high risk, high cost existence. At any moment, the choices of others can forever affect our health, our futures, our families. The pay is okay, before taxes. Many have second jobs. Some have two or three. On Monday, an article was published about a Vegas based producer forging his talent test. The performer pool has been grandly affected by a single, curable STD. Why do I know this? Because the conclusion of my first feature movie, "An Alluring Secret," had to be rescheduled after a performer was among the recipients of a positive test(NOT HIV). For safety purposes, production was completely halted, until retesting and verification could be rendered. Safety first. Since that day, there's been hours of conversations, speculation about the guilty party, the man who's the source of all of this turmoil. An official investigation has been launched. Originally, one man was thought to be the offender, but, after thorough clarification, he was cleared of wrongdoing. The organization, responsible for our safety, is not releasing the man's name to the performer pool. This is the scariest possible situation. If he continues to work, unidentified, he can continue to infiltrate the health of honest, hard working people. This, in turn, interrupts the performer pool's personal abilities to work, their home lives, their professional sanctity. This IS a big deal and NO ONE wants to talk about it. My thoughts? FUCK that guy. Let me find out who is forging their talent tests. I'll fucking publicly CRUCIFY the mother fucker.
