I hope you all slept well as I, luckily got to do My own self last night, I fell out sometime around the mid to late twilight hours while enjoying My favorite personality of all time and game show host, Gene Rayburn, accompanied by his always fantastic crew of extraordinary characters. It's My happy place ;-) and if you have ever enjoyed the show I am sure you know what I am talking about. The kitties spent a long time out this morning and after getting them in I had to take care of some immediates, I am sure you understand;-) so I'm posting this a little later than I had hoped to, better late than never, of course. But here it is now for you to enjoy with us. . . . . . decided to get us an update and make the call to check on Corny the Racoon and am very happy to let you know that she/he has been much more responsive and trying to sit up, but appears to be tiring him/herself out in the process of doing so and that it will most likely be a slow process for her/him but that the sign of recovery are much better than they were when I found him and got him over to the right persons to care for him. They also explained that he has been able to drink a little water on his/her own but had to basically be force feed for nourishment, and the most important good news, is she/he is holding down the food. He/she now had the best chance possible.
