There are also twigs on the basket - a symbol of love and intelligence, light - a symbol of light. 🐰Easter lunch. The whole family is at dinner. Celebrating Easter is not just about eating, it is about sharing positive energy, praying for a brighter future and believing in the triumph of good over evil. 🐰Music. On Easter, Ukrainians sing haivki - songs combined with dances, calling for spring. This tradition was formed in pagan times, but did not disappear after Christianization and continues to this day. 🐰Water Monday. Easter celebrations do not end on Sunday. On the first Monday after the holiday, there is a tradition of dousing yourself and others with water. Christians believe that water on this day becomes healing and helps to spiritually cleanse.
