I think it applies to more than fetishes, to more than sex. To make for a good photo the poses were not natural and even holding them for a few moments was awkward. The position of my feet were not at all similar to the way my entire body including my feet holds tension during pleasurable sexual experiences (only to then release upon orgasm). Yet, the viewer saw something else. He projected onto these photos and onto me the way *he* felt when looking at the photos. The viewer’s comment told me his story of his attraction and perception of feet— my beautiful feet. I have never forgotten this.
