Woke up with the biggest crink in my neck and have been so sore all day. (I know it will pass!) but when it's more painful than my already consistently painful TMJ you know it's bad! Speaking of which... I spoke to a couple of doctors today (it was scary but I did it!) and I seem to be a good candidate for botox/dysport in the masseter muscle as a treatment for TMJ. It's temporary, but honestly, if I can get some relief that lasts maybe 2 or 3 months I'd be beyond happy! Here's the catch, it's pricey AF! Anyway, I'm going to be putting a fundraising goal for that on here soon, but I don't have an exact cost of the treatments yet, as I have to go in person and be assessed for them to know how much I need and all that. When I know for sure, I'll get back to you. It is going to be more than $500, most likely in the $800 range 😠But anyway, just wanted to update you guys on what's been going on. Being in pain really sucks and doesn't make you want to be social or interactive, so I'm sorry for being more distant lately. I'm doing what I can and still posting 2-3 times each day, so at least there's that! Thank you guys for supporting my nerdy/sexy endeavors here, I look forward to plenty more to come! 💋
