Roomies and I have a friend visiting from Canada (now that we're all vaccinated) and the 4 of us took a road trip to the Valley of Fire! (I posted a couple pics on snapchat) It was beautiful there! We had a little hike and drove around the park seeing the sights! Felt nice to get out of the house and be social. Came back and had a hot tub to relax the muscles and now we're about to settle in for dinner (yes, I am still on the boring diet, so that part is meh!) and then play a game or watch a movie. But here's a question - did you know earwigs could bite?! While sitting in the hot tub with my pals, I had my arms resting on the deck outside the water and I felt a little nibble between my fingers! Looked down and an earwig was crawling away!! It wasn't a sharp pain, more than it was a surprise! I didn't know they bite! Anyway, I'm fine, there isn't even a mark, but that's how it is! So that's my day. Just a really nice day, and a good distraction from the pain. (I go to the doctor this week, so fingers crossed on that!) Hope your Monday has been lovely too! 🥰
