I didn't have a problem with their making The Doctor regenerate into a female form, heck, I thought The Master as a female was fucking brilliant and the actress playing her did a perfect job embodying the essence of The Master. I've just found all the new writing to be so heavily laden with political correctness to the point of distracting from the stories and the stories are just plain bad!! As Matt Smith's Doctor said: "We're all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?" Good thing there's plenty of old Doctor Who episodes to watch and rewatch and enjoy most thoroughly!
