

***Mindful Monday with Riley*** Did you know that static stretching activates your parasympathetic nervous system. Activating this branch of your nervous system may help alleviate the psychological effects of stress. This, in turn, may help induce feelings of calmness and relaxation. I mean, yes, a beer makes you feel good...but stretching doesn't come with the hangover and is free ;) I'll share in the next post a small stretch routine that you can do at your desk :)
