I.e. sporting event, concert, show*** Some Raptors playoffs games I attended were...INSANE. I'm thinking about one playoff game in particular where Bismack Biyombo blocked a shot on D...and went coast to coast to dunk it the other way. But there's also the Demar Derozan return. We were losing all game vs. the Spurs, and with 30 seconds left, Kawhi steals the ball from Demar and dunks it in front of me for the W! And how to forget the ring ceremony night where we won in OT vs the Pelicans! But the best of the best? Celtics vs. Raptors. Those DAMN CELTICS FANS can't shut up about their 20+ titles! There was one VERY VERY annoying fan sitting around us. The Celtics were kicking our asses ALL game long. And he would yell things like "NICK NURSE YOU SUCK!" or "BOOYA" after each Celtics basket. But in the final quarter, Raptors came back from 15 for the big W and OMFG the entire section turned around to that guy and yelled BOOYA to each basket! It was hilarious! Scotiabank Arena is a crazy loud place...and during those special games, it's like everyone becomes friend with one another in the arena. There's just such a crazy atmosphere. For 2 hours... no one fights about gender...about religion...about race...about job status... about vaccination (well that one is easy now as non vaccinated people aren't allowed in LOL!). Everyone cheers for the same team (except some random Celtics fans haha) and high five each other after big baskets. I just like it...makes me forget about how humanity is shit sometimes!
