I played the Switch version, and I was SO disappointed. Last time I had played a Mario Tennis was on the N64 and my memories about it were so good. I was debating if my memories were tainted or if it was the kind of game that didn't need to be reinvented with joy cons. My take? N64 version is still the best. It's easy to play, easy to understand, and a ton of fun. Sure, the graphics are OUT OF THIS WORLD on the Switch...but I don't need a 4K image to have fun playing Mario Tennis! I played my first Tournament with Donkey Kong, and won! Woot Woot! It was a hell of a close final vs Luigi. Have you ever played Mario Tennis?
