Right now in Minnesota a company called Enbridge is building a pipeline referred to as Line3 . Why should you care? This pipeline has already spilled oil 9 times during it's construction, contaminating freshwater sources, killing fish and contaminating local crops and other wildlife. If finished this pipeline will endanger over 200 bodies of fresh water including the Mississippi river which it will cross at 2 points. Not only does this endanger water for all of us this is illegally being built on treaty lands of indigenous people. Local police were even paid off by Enbridge to arrest peaceful protestors who had permission from the local tribe to camp on this land. Yesterday over 20 water protectors were brutally and unlawfully arrested to protect corporate interest What can you do? Please go to stopline3.org to learn more.
