Seen here is the cow with the milker attached which uses a vacuum to suck the milk out of her udder. The bucket pictured is because we are removing her milk from the “line” meaning that it goes into that bucket so we can feed it to calves, rather than the giant bulk tank that will then end up in your fridge! If you have any farming related questions I’m your girl! I’m going to be sharing fun facts and information randomly. Keep in mind this is focused on Canadian agriculture as that is where I am located!
