And then this started happening. I hadn't realized that a month went by, and I was curious as to how long they could grow so I let them be for about a month and a half. When, I saw that they were starting to bend like this, I wasn't really sure what to think. They looked like they were wilting but they still felt the same when I touched them. I figured it was probably the length and weight that was making them bend, so I decided to cut them. I put them in the kitchen for a bit while I grabbed the ruler because I wanted to see how big they got. They were so long! Probably around 18 inches for the tallest one! I wish I could have straightened them out to show their length better but I also had to hold my phone to take the picture lolz. But I'm thinking the longest one was about 18 inches, and the other about 15 inches. A good harvest, I dare say! What did I do with them? I left them out in the kitchen for anyone to use them. I didn't eat them myself because that wasn't the point for me. Sure, I probably could have saved them. But because I half eat out, and half use meal subscription boxes, I didn't really have use for random scallions lolz. So I left them out in case anyone else was cooking that day and wanted to use them. The point of growing veggies for me, or any plant for that matter, is for me to see them grow. To see something I'm taking care of grow. It's a bit hard to explain but it relaxes me in a way. I don't have to think too much about it, don't have to put too much effort into it, and yet the results are there, and it makes me happy. Simple as that :) Anyways, that's it for now. I do have another batch growing and in this same phase so I'll have to cut it soon. I didn't take a lot of pics of the new batch, but since they're small enough, I put them together in one pot, and added a carrot top to the other to maybe get some carrot seeds. Still seeing how that one goes but it is growing. Maybe I'll update some time soon~
