I'm finally home! And I'm a little tipsy but here's some stuffs for Workout Wednesday. First and foremost, if you contributed towards nakey workout, it'll roll over to next week and I'll send a thing then lolz. Next, one of the things to focus on in terms of fitness journey is your diet. Diet doesn't necessarily mean the food you eat to lose weight. That definition is false in case you didn't know. It's really the type of food that you eat. For example, if you mostly eat junk food, that's your diet and most likely an unhealthy one. If you eat mostly veggies, that can be a healthier diet compared to the former but then you also have to worry about how you're getting your protein and such. I'll say this: there is no perfect diet. I will never tell you wtf to eat. That's none of my damn business. Shit, I eat cookies every now and then and some dairy even though my body doesn't like it. But it sure as hell tastes good during the moment lolz. The thing is, every person's diet varies on what their body needs, how their body is, what goal they have, etc. So the first thing you should consider when undergoing a fitness journey is: what kind of journey do I want it to be? This highly depends on your goal, and thus so do your diet, exercise, and lifestyle. If you're goal is to lose weight, for sure a certain diet that includes less calories and exercise routine that will require more cardio is the best thing for you. If you're trying to gain muscle, your diet might need more protein and your routine will need more weight training. Etc. Before you do any of this, it's best you see your doctor and perhaps a nutritionist if possible. If the gym you decide to go to has a nutritionist and a trainer, I suggest you take advantage of them if possible. If not, make sure to get a physical beforehand and ask your doctor any questions related to diet and exercise. What would suck is if you have some kind of underlying condition that may hinder you that you might not know about, and then it getting worse for doing something you're not supposed to. GET. CHECKED. FIRST! Once that's done, the next thing to focus on would be your diet. If you're eating like shit and trying to work out, more than likely you're gonna get shit results because you're probably not getting the energy you need nor the protein to build muscle that you want. So make sure to eat right: less junk food, more healthy choices. It doesn't have to be 100% healthy; as long as you're slowly increasing the healthy foods, you're golden. If you mostly eat junk, and go straight to trying to eat healthy, that might also be bad because your body isn't use to that. Hence, why I say to check with a doctor first. With that being said, calorie intake can be important... to an extent. Like I said, it depends on what your fitness goal is as well as other factors. Take me for example: believe it or not, I eat 3 meals a day with lots of snacks in between. I'm a hungry bish. The meals can be healthy, but maybe the snacks not so much. But let's pretend I get an even 1000 calories per day, and I'm trying to build muscle. That might work, but it'll most likely take me longer to see any results because I'm not eating more protein and intaking more calories. I need the damn energy from the food I eat. Who would've fucking thought lmao. If I was trying to lose weight, yeah that' 1000 calories per day might make sense, but not if I'm still eating like shit. Reminder that you don't have to be eating perfectly healthy; it can get expensive lolz. But as long as you're making healthier choices than you were before, then that's oki. Small changes can make big differences.
