

I like to call this, ‘on the verge of being a pretzel’ pose. Kurmasana, tortoise pose, is not the most graceful to get in and out of but it has a wonderful essence of pressing the body into the Earth. Benefits include stretching through the hamstrings from the ischial tuberosity as well as deep opening in the hips, shoulders and chest. I want to see your pretzel poses 🤣
