

We already know that I am an advocate for foam rolling. One of my favorite places to do it is along my spine and not necessarily to relive muscle tension and soreness, but for its ability to decompress the nervous system! Reducing anxiety is something we can all strive for and this quick and easy application has shown major benefits. Moreover, some studies have shown that foam rolling reduces cortisol levels, known as the "stress hormone". When cortisol levels are elevated we are in flight or flight with symptoms associated such as high 🅱️lood pressure, increased muscle tension and cessation of the digestive system.
