

Guasha is one the best modalities to release muscle tension, especially for difficult or tender areas such as the neck The Sternocleidomastoid muscle or SCM as well as the Scalene muscles are particularly difficult to release with efforts of stretching and/or massage, that is when I go to my tool belt for the guasha spoon. Especially in my self massage practice, I try to guasha at least 2-3x weekly 🕊 Fun Fact: If you don’t have a guasha spoon handy, you can supplement with a Snapple cap ✨
